QVC culinary expert/on-air spokesperson and product development expert Lisa Brady was born and raised in a small town outside Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada. As one of eight children, Brady realized her love of cooking at an early age while watching and helping her mom cook family meals. At 17, she began working in restaurants as a cook, over time managing and opening numerous new locations in Canada and later the US. After meeting her husband, Chris Brady, near Philadelphia, Brady took a break from the industry to raise her children.

In 2004, Lisa Brady’s zesty personality, restaurant experience, and love of cooking brought her to QVC, the world's largest live-shopping channel. She focused on kitchen items, introducing life-changing products such as the Instant Pot to QVC families across the nation. In Brady’s first cookbook, Instant Pot Basics, she shares her recipes, tips, and tricks for Instant Pot cooking.
